Alienation is a colorless mutation which increases the amount of enemies needed to lift a curse by 50% and makes every enemy killed while cursed heal the player for 5% of their total health.

Notes
- Each instance of healing occurs over 2 seconds.
- Curses got before the mutation won't increase their kill counter.
- This mutation has good synergy with
Acceptance, as they allow the player to get very powerful healing from cursed chests while removing the risk of the increased kill requirement.
History
- 0.5; Introduced.
- 0.6: Effect removed: Removing a curse restores 75% HP.
- Effect removed: Reduces amount of enemies needing to be killed to remove curse by half.
- Effect added: Each enemy killed while cursed heals 10% HP.
- 1.1: Now increases the number of enemies that have to be killed while cursed by +50%.
- 1.5: Now grants Malaise reduction for every 5 kills while cursed.
- 2.1: No longer grants Malaise reduction due to the Malaise rework.
- 3.2: Removed from Boss Rush.
