Medusa Is a mini-boss added in the Return to Castlevania DLC. Holding the key to the Master's Keep, she will take the first chance she gets to petrify you and unleash flurries of claw attacks. Rolling behind her is not always an option, as she is quick enough to catch you there. She also appears in Richter Mode as the final fight before the end of the level.
Behavior
Medusa is a fast moving enemy. She will constantly peruse you, and strike with her quick-moving and sudden attacks.
Moveset
- Description: After a short charge, Medusa will screech and the player will be turned to stone.
- Can be blocked, parried, and dodge rolled.

Strategy
While fighting Medusa, it is recommended to keep your distance. Ranged weapons allow the player to attack from a distance. The is very useful against Medusa as you don’t need to retrieve any arrows.
Whip-type weapons, such as the
or , often deal more damage than Ranged weapons while still keeping distance.Furthermore, you should keep a shield to block against sudden tail sweeps and stone gazes. The
