Les Mutations sont les améliorations passives qui modifient et augmente les capacités du joueur de bien des manières. Elles sont obtenables entre les niveaux par Guillain. La plupart d’entres elles ne sont pas disponibles dès le départ, il faut donc amener leurs schémas au Collecteur, et dépenser les cellules requises.
Mécaniques
Le joueur ne peut posséder qu’un nombre limité de mutations à la fois. Chaque zone finie dans une run permet l’équipement d’une mutation, pour un total de 3 (sauf en mode customisé, où l’on peut en prendre bien plus). Cependant, le joueur peut dépenser de l’or entre les niveaux pour remplacer les mutations actuelles. Le prix commence à 1.000 d’or, et double chaque fois que le joueur veut changer, jusqu’à atteindre 8.000 d’or, où la valeur est bloquée.
La plupart des mutations sont associées à une certaine statistique et s’échelonnent sur cette dernière. De ce fait, les dégâts de base et/ou niveau de soin sont multipliés par 1.15n-1, où n est le niveau de la statistique concernée, arrondi pour obtenir le résultat final.
Par exemple, si une mutation de Brutalité donne 90 dégâts par secondes en plus et la statistique de Brutalité du joueur est à 2, le bonus de dégâts est de 90 × 1.152-1 = 90 × 1.15 = 103.5 ≈ 104). Notez que les dégâts et bonus de dégâts de mutations ne sont pas affectés par les bonus spécifiques d’armes ou leurs modificateurs.
Les mutations incolores ont des avantages fixes non impactés par les statistiques, à l’exception d’
Inspiration du maître d'armes et
Plaqué or, qui s’échelonnent sur la statistique la plus haute.
